Police have said that inmate Dana Martin, who is doing time at the Southern New Mexico Correctional Facility for the murder and rape of a 15-year-old girl, was the mastermind behind this shocking plot. The police claim that Martin directed a former jailhouse friend in Vermont, Mark Staake, and Staake's nephew, Tanner Ruane, to kidnap and murder Justin, and asked Ruane in a taped conversation, "Did he go over the Bieber thing with you?"

Ruane is reported by ABC to have commented in regard to his instructions to kidnap and kill Justin, "We went and bought the hedge clippers. You're gonna give me 5 large ($5,000) for each one I get." Police have said that Ruane was instructed to castrate Justin and his bodyguard with these clippers, and then suffocate both of them with a scarf. Martin, who gave the orders for the killing, is quoted as saying, "Tie it really tight, and that cuts off all the oxygen, and then tie it in the back again, really tight. That seals the deal." This was really an unusually gruesome and pathetic plot, with Justin's fans praying things will be alright for him now.
