On Saturday, Justin Bieber went on Instangram and mooned followers that were on Instragram at the time and then deleted the picture. I’m sure you may be asking; what in the world, what this about? What could be possibly going on with Bieber? The pop singer was wearing a black tank top, some type of black pants that was apparently very easy to pull down, sunglasses and a hat. In the picture the singer is looking over his shoulders with this little grin into the camera and then snaps a picture of his back-side for all his followers to see, at least until deleting the picture.
According to E! it was a prank. You have to ask though, was it a prank or a PR ploy to grow more social media followers or customers? On Twitter, Bieber is doing a count-down of the new release of his Believe Acoustic CD. So I ask again; could this have simply been a way to attract attention for the new release of his CD?
It seems some celebrities like negative attention, Let’s take Lady Gaga for example, she’s known for controversial issues, but for some reason, it seems to work in this industry because look at her very large following. What do you think; do you think it was simply a ploy to attract more social media followers and/or customers?
