Justin Bieber finished up business in Canada and headed to New York City on Friday to take part in the Superbowl festivities. Upon reaching Teterboro airport in New Jersey, Bieber was detained for a reported five hours as authorities reported the smell of marijuana on his plane. None was found and Bieber was let go.
Around 2 a.m., Bieber showed up at the Maxim Superbowl Party sponsored by Talent Resources. He was escorted through the back and seated in a roped off area in the back of Espace, a New York City club.
Apparently Justin Bieber was in no mood for fans. His security team kept a close watch over the troubled pop star. Whenever another attendee tried to take a picture of Bieber, his team intervened. They reportedly flashed bright lights to ruin pictures and swatted cameras and phones out of their owners hands. Bieber did give one photo op as he stood up and flipped off a camera.
According to reports, Bieber was denied entrance to other parties. It is unclear whether this was due to his age or his pending legal trouble. He is only 19-years old, too young to legally consume alcohol though he seems to do that anyway.
