Justin Bieber showed up two hours late to his own concert. According to a March 5 ABC News report, the Canadian pop star started his concert late on a school night. He took the stage at London's O2 arena at 10:35 p.m. It was two hours past the advertised time.
Fans started booing Bieber as he finally arrived on stage. The Beliebers waited for hours for their idol to show up. Parents were getting restless as well. They were ticked that their kids would have to stay up late on a school night.
There were also some other concerns about London's transportation system. Some were worried that the subway system would halt transportation before the end of the concert. This would leave millions of fans stranded at the arena.
Justin Bieber also apologized to his fans, although it took him some time. He also said that he was 40 minutes late, not two hours late. He also blamed his lateness for "technical issues." Bieber backtracked and said that there was no excuse for him to be late. He was proud that it was a terrific show for his fans to enjoy.
