Check out why Justin Bieber was late for his concert (Video)

As one child star turned superstar makes the news for not making her court appearance (Lindsay Lohan - read story here) another makes the news for a heart warming story that deserves just as much attention if not more. Justin Bieber made headlines Jan. 7, 2013 at TMZ for being late to his Salt Lake City concert after visiting a fan in the hospital. The report pointed out this was not to avert attention from the other negative news story about Bieber because he often "visits children's hospitals in cities where he performs". Perhaps other well known celebrities can take a lesson from his charitable actions and make news for doing some good instead of the negative headlines we have become so accustomed to seeing.

Millie Flamm, a seven year old leukemia patient, got a private concert from the mega star this weekend. It was a touching scene according to the report that says he held her hand while he sang for her.

While there are many celebrities that give to charitable causes and make a difference in the world, there are still many others that make headlines for negative actions that do very little to make a positive change in the world. One wonders what Hollywood would look like if celebrities were made famous for acts of kindness - not the opposite.
