He's had a rough go of it as of late, but give him a break; he's only nineteen.
Justin Bieber is as he claims to be: a young kid with a big heart. Taking a defensive yet apologetic stance in response to what could be accurately described as an unduly and unfairly critical attitude by the certain elements in the world press, he responded in a frank and honest manner in an Instagram, addressing among other things, (false) rumors of his presence in rehab.
Stating, “I’m a good person with a big heart. And don’t think I deserve all this negative press I’ve worked my a** off to get where I am and my hard work doesn’t stop here,” he went on to say, “C’mon. If Anyone believes I need rehab that’s their own stupidity.” “I am 19, I’ve seen the whole world, and I’ve accomplished more than I could’ve ever dreamed of.” “All this isn’t easy. I get angry sometimes. I’m human. I’m gonna make mistakes. In (sic) gonna grow and get better from them.”
Possibly suffering from exhaustion, he experienced temporary difficulties at one of his recent concerts, appearing to experience a near fainting spell. Harassment by the paparazzi angered him nearly to the point of confrontation in London, and some late appearances/cancellations of scheduled events led a negativity-seeking element in the press to make declarations characterizing him as an “out of control wild child.”
The bottom line is that Justin Bieber has accomplished a very humble greatness far beyond his years, in a way which can easily be compared with all-time greats such as Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson and others. He has brought unprecedented joy, happiness and fulfillment to countless millions, and continues to do so. His message has been and continues to be one of love, appreciation, with a positive and uplifting spirit, far more than what can be said of other popular artists, some of which incorporate foul and abusive language, and an entirely different message promoting an entirely different, not uncommonly negative, even destructive agenda in an already troubled world, in very troubled times.
Bieber's maturity and perceptiveness shines through brightly time after time in his unceasingly positive outlook in spite of those who seek to capitalize on his weaknesses, faults/imperfections.
