Happy Birthday Justin Bieber! Justin Bieber said he was going to sit at home and relax, maybe take in a piece of his Grandmother's cherry cheesecake and kickback before he heads out on tour. A couple of things he is surely watching are two huge charity drives, both of which seem to going well.
The first was Justin Bieber's hair that is up for auction on EBay. Bieber had chopped off his famous locks and donated a few pieces (in an autographed plastic case) to Ellen DeGeneres, who was to put them up for auction on EBay. As of this writing, the auction is up to $12,800 with less than a day to go. You can read more about the auction and find a link here.
The second auction is Bieber's birthday wish. For his 17th Birthday (March 1) he decided to run an online drive for clean water efforts in third world nations. Dubbed 'My Charity: Water,' the goal was to reach $17,000, by asking people to donate $17 (a dollar for each of Bieber's years) to the cause. Justin has easily passed the goal with 87 days to spare. Currently the drive is up to $32,467.88. We are not sure who gave $.88, but he did say every little bit counted. It looks like sitting at home and relaxing is paying off.
