According to the Miami Beach police the pop star was street car racing. He also told police that he was under the influence of alcohol, marijuana and prescription medication.

Bieber, 19, was driving a yellow Lamborghini at around 4am and was racing against a red Ferrari in a residential area of Miami Beach going about 55 to 60 mph in a 30 mph zone when he was stopped by the police. The other driver was 19 year old Def Jam recording artist Khalil Sharieff, who was also arrested for drunken driving.

He was released an hour after his arrest after the judge set a standard $2,500 bond.

Bieber’s mug shot has been circulating the internet and social media sites like Facebook and Twitter only a few hours after his release.
