Some Justin Bieber fans have reduced themselves to "cutting" as a way of protesting his alleged pot smoking habit, TMZ reports Jan. 7. The hashtag #cut4bieber is making its way on the Internet after photos were leaked of the singer supposedly smoking marijuana. Disappointed fans are trying to make a deadly statement that they won't stop engaging in self-harm unless Justin stops smoking. It's a tool some are using in an effort to pressure him from quitting the habit.
The report went on to say that Miley Cyrus is speaking out against the alarming trend. After a series of photos exhibited bleeding arms and how popular this movement is becoming, Miley retweeted a message about the disturbing trend.
Miley wrote:
"#cut4bieber? Cutting is NOT something to joke about. There are people who are actually suffering from self-harm, this is so disrespectful."
Fans do some extreme things for the stars they love. Perhaps cutting isn't the healthiest way to go about making a statement. It's unknown if Justin Bieber is aware of what his radical fans are encouraging each other to do.
