Justin Bieber's new music video for "Baby" has already hit MTV and VH1, and the teen sensation is starting to speak out about some of the inspiration behind the light-hearted song. In a new "behind-the-scenes video" (which you can check out below), Justin says part of the inspiration behind the "Baby" video was Michael Jackson's hit "The Way You Make Me Feel."
First of all, to even say you are trying to emulate a Michael Jackson video is a feat in itself -- "Thriller" single-handedly helped to make MTV a household name. Nevertheless, there are a few similarities present. Justin, like Michael, is pursuing a woman while singing about his feelings. However, the 15-year old singer substitutes a darkly-lit (and graffiti-laced) alley with an entirely different kind of alley: one with bowling balls and a million different colors.
Michael Jackson's video also told a longer story, whereas Justin's is nearly three minutes shorter and focuses solely on the song.

I ended up in this article because i was searching to see if Biber was inspired by MJ when i saw "Baby" video. Even though it is not nearly as refined as MJ's "The Way She Makes Me Feel",anyone who knows Michael's moves will instantly know "Baby" video has lot of Michael trademarks.
I can definitely see the similarities between them, and I think it's great that he is inspired by Michael, he is the greatest of all time, and I know Michael would be so falttered, he is a good role model for kids lets hope he stays that way!
