Justin Bieber is continuing his trend of circling down a drain of embarrassment. TMZ reported on Jan. 23, 2014, that Justin Bieber was arrested in Miami Beach and it was for a number of charges including driving under the influence (DUI), drag racing, resisting arrest without violence, and driving on an expired license.

Authorities have said they believe that Bieber was under the influence of both drugs and alcohol at the time of his arrest that happened early on the morning of Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014.

Bieber is currently (as of 9:00 a.m. EST) in custody at the police department and his blood alcohol level is being checked. TMZ reports that Bieber was given a field sobriety test when he got out of the car and he absolutely failed it.

After his testing, he will be brought to jail, booked, and processed. At that point, his bail will be set.

Sources state that Justin Bieber left a night club and some of the people he was with, actually blocked off a street in a residential neighborhood so the young singer could drag race. He was driving his yellow Lamborghini at the time.

Khalil, a Def Jam Records rapper, was racing Bieber in a red Lamborghini and was also arrested.

Word is that Bieber was charged with resisting arrest when he refused to take his hands out of his pockets when the police told him to do it. A model named Chantel was in the car with Bieber at the time of his arrest.
