Since news hit that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez had split as a couple, the tabloids have fueled a myriad of tales. Here are two of the latest stories reported on Feb. 28, 2013. One bit of gossip is from from Entertainmentwise: Selena Gomez Mocks Justin Bieber's Outfit: I'm "Embarrassed" For Him. Then ABC News, quoting the UK Mirror:, reported: Teen British Singer Denies Justin Bieber Relationship. But perhaps the most outrageous story came from the National Enquirer, which claimed that Gomez was forcing friends to cut ties with the Bieber.
Gossip Cop set the record straight yesterday noting:
Of course, the Enquirer says a lot of things about Bieber and Gomez — and they’re often not true.
In just the last few weeks, the magazine has falsely claimed that Bieber’s mom fears he’s “headed to rehab”, wrongly claimed Taylor Swift was “chasing” him, and mistakenly declared that Gomez was dating Alfredo Flores for revenge.
This is all to say that the Enquirer has absolutely NO clue what’s going on with either Gomez or Bieber these days. Selena Gomez Forcing Her Friends To Cut Ties With Justin Bieber?
In the world of TinselTown life changes rapidly. It was just on New Year’s Day that we were reporting on hot love and music for Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. The couple landed in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to ring in the New Year with some warm sunshine and hot love. Gomez was all smiles because he was allegedly writing more songs, making more music, for his sweetheart.
