Justin Bieber's attempt to steal Grammys thunder fails big time (Video)

Did Justin Bieber intentionally try to steal viewers from the 55th annual Grammys award show, which occurred on Feb. 10? It certainly seems that’s a possibility, according to a Feb. 11 Yahoo! Music report.

Bieber’s camp was very vocal in their disappointment that the pop star was overlooked for a Grammy nomination. Justin hosted “Saturday Night Live” the evening before the awards show and announced on Twitter just before it aired that he’d be hosting a live streaming event set to start at the exact same time as the Grammys. What do you think of the timing – coincidence or revenge plot?

At any rate, Bieber’s plan fell flat. The live streaming suffered technical difficulties. Justin tweeted apologies to fans and asked them to hold on. Two hours after it was supposed to happen, Bieber released a video of himself shirtless. Justin apologized for the problems and gave a sneak peek of his new song “You Want Me.”

Do you think the live streaming event was a passive aggressive move by Justin Bieber against the Grammys because he was snubbed or just convenient timing?
