Reporting cruelty, abuse, or neglect the moment you see it can be the difference between life and death for an animal. You are urged to call police, the PSPCA Animal Cruelty Hotline at 866-601-SPCA, or contact Justice Rescue at www.justice-rescue.com/contact/ReportAbuse.html, or their emergency only line at 215-942-6363.
Turning away because it is too upsetting, or to avoid conflict, or because you expect someone else to step up, is the wrong approach. You may be an animal's only chance of survival, which diminishes greatly the longer someone waits to get involved.
If you live in Pennsylvania, you may have already heard of Justice Rescue. Founded in 2011, they have zero tolerance for animal abuse and cruelty and are a real force to be reckoned with.
They might not look how most envision rescuers, but Justice Rescue has a soft spot for animals, and their desire to protect and rescue is unsurpassed. They refer to themselves as "dog soldiers" and will help any animal in danger and work alongside police and Humane Law Enforcement to bring animals to safety. They even assist in finding forever homes for the animals they save, and also provide consulting to other animal rescues in many parts of the country.
They are not paid for their service to animals - their only reward is seeing an animal they saved recover from its past and find its happy tomorrow. And they do this day after day without hesitation.
"It's not about whose toes we step on - it's about the paws we protect." - Justice Rescue's motto
They confront abusers and educate the public to prevent future cruelty, and they've quickly become the go-to rescue group for the tri-state area. Their fearless, never-give-up approach in legally dealing with abusers is a source of comfort and a much-needed way to report abuse while it's happening.
They are asking people to report abuse directly to them, not through Facebook, so necessary information gets to them as quickly and accurately as possible. To report abuse, click here.
It is important to provide the address of the abuse as well as your contact info, which will be kept confidential.
Don't allow animals to suffer in silence. Be their voice, but use the proper channels to report it so they will not become another statistic of the cruel abuse that surrounds us.
Be a hero - help save a life.
Justice Rescue relies on donations to aid them in continuing their fight. If you'd like to donate, you can do so here, or supply much needed items from their wish list here.

We would personally like to thank Justice Rescue for all the time, effort, and danger you put yourselves in daily to help animals in need. It is greatly appreciated, not only by us, but by all the animals you save.
