The title for the next DC direct-to-video movie has been revealed on the back cover artwork of the upcoming Batman: Assault on Arkham Blu-ray. The cover artwork was unveiled for the Canadian market. Thanks to Worldsfinest.com Justice League: Throne of Atlantis has been revealed to be the next installment of films produced by Warner Bros.

Since the release of Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox DC and Warner Bros. Entertainment has stayed true to their promise to release movies under a shared animated universe: Justice League: Flashpoint, Justice League: War, and Justice League: Throne of Atlantis, all chronologically follow the DC New 52 Justice League comics, and with an occasional stand-alone movie like Batman: Assault on Arkham which is set in the Batman Arkham video games universe.

Justice League: Throne of Atlantis can be assumed to be based on the comic story line of the same name. The movie will feature Aquaman teaming up with the Justice League to reclaim his crown, and to stop a war between his undersea kingdom of Atlantis and the rest of the world.

Home Entertainment and DC Entertainment will release further details on the next sate of DC Universe animated movies in the coming months starting with Comic-Con 2014. Who knows what's in store DC Animation's future, could we see Batman: Court of Owls movie? Or by fan request a Killing Joke movie starring Mark Hamill? No official release date or cast information has officially released for Justice League Throne of Atlantis. Batman: Assault on Arkham is scheduled to released later this summer on August 12.
