Anybody who goes to West Hollywood regularly to dine, shop, or recreate knows how difficult it is to find a parking space or how expensive it is to use valets and public lots. And now the City Council is making it even harder for drivers to survive.
According to today’s on line edition of Patch, West Hollywood is once again making it harder for drivers to park in and around the city. It’s not enough that the town hangs confusing parking signs that often have so many options its makes your head spin. The brunt of many jokes, pundits have explained the signs in ways such as, “If it’s Sunday and your mother’s a Cancer, but your father is a Leo, and it’s before 7 a.m. but after 12 p.m.” only saying and joking of course.
Well now according to the West Hollywood Patch, “WeHo is extending its parking meter enforcement hours beginning on Tuesday and according to a City Council press release, the additional funds generated from the longer hours will be earmarked for additional Sheriff’s Department and private security patrol.”
