In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month the Examiner is having their 10K in 10 Days.
Journalists from the Examiner are donating their time in honor of breast cancer awareness by writing informative articles for the public on breast cancer. Upon a number of dedicated examiners publishing their breast cancer informative articles the Examiner will be donating $10,000 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. The foundation is one of the world’s largest advocates in the fight against breast cancer.
According to the foundation there will be an estimated 38,520 breast cancer related deaths just in the United States alone by the end of 2011.
The numbers are staggering this is way the Examiner has joined the fight against breast cancer.
We are taking our virtual walk starting today and end on October 31st.
So join us in our fight and stop by the Examiner and show your support for the entire journalists who are busy keeping the public informed about the latest news and research on breast cancer.
