Just look like you've traveled with Vita Liberata luxury tan products

I travel all over the world, to climates both sunny and snowy. Even when I'm in the desert though, I don't want to look like I've been baking there. I like looking younger than I am! Plus, there's that pesky cancer thing. But there's no doubt that a sleek tan can make you look more outdoorsy-fun loving, well-to-do and better in swimsuits/selfies.

However, I normally loathe self-tanners. I've tried many of the most expensive department store brands and they are difficult to apply, because you don't know how badly you've messed up until the next day; they stink; they come out the color of burnt pumpkins and most importantly, they pill and wear off when you sweat on your clothes and linens. Yuck!

So, it was with trepidation -- but hope springs eternal! -- that I tried Vita Liberata luxury self-tanning products. I was happy to be hosted to experience it. I'm not ashamed to say, I've been converted! I kind of knew that I'd be in store for something different, as this line has won an award from the Queen of England for International Trade and is used in such of the most luxurious spas as the 7 star Burj Al Arab in Dubai.

Before a recent trip to Israel, I knew I'd be on the beach in swimsuits with colleagues. Eeek! The pHenomenal 2-3 week tan mousse to the rescue! Now, it says that you have to apply it with a tanning mitt -- I wish they were included. But, I used cotton pads and the back of an old bath sponge as a substitute. You apply it after a good exfoliation and shower, in little circles. Go more lightly on areas that don't tan IRL, like knees and ankles.

The color is perfectly natural! Not to be extra gross, but if you've ever peeled a suntan and looked at the brown color of your peeled skin -- that brown color -- that's the shade you turn. It's so believable, people kept telling me that they were "fairer" than I am: not true in actuality! Nobody even thought I used self-tanner!

The tan didn't roll off in nasty hot weather. It didn't stain my light clothes. It didn't rub off with tight bathing suits. It doesn't make your body smell.

I suggest doing two applications on two consecutive days, with a shower in between. That way, you can correct any mistakes you made . . . though the mousse has a brown tint and you do see where you are applying it. The second application just smooths out any minor flaws.
