Just for Kids is in full swing at SeaWorld Orlando, with two more Saturdays to go before it ends for another year. The park is a great place for youngsters at any time, since kids love animals and enjoy all the fun little rides in Shamu's Happy Harbor. However, Just for Kids kicks things up a notch, with special games, shows, and entertainment created specifically with the younger set in mind.

Click the slideshow accompanying this article for a quick Just for Kids overview. The event, which runs on Saturdays through April12, features the Rockin' Rockhopper dance party, animal greetings, story time, a Sesame Street show, character photo ops, activity tables, games, and collector cards that can earn kids a prize. Almost all of the activities are included with your regular park admission. Some of the games cost extra, but they're geared to kids and award a prize every time.

All of SeaWorld Orlando's regular activities are going on during Just for Kids, so plan to spend the whole day. That will give you enough time to see the orcas, catch the dolphin and sea lion shows, enjoy the rides, visit the animals in Wild Arctic, Turtle Trek, and the Shark Encounter, and maybe even buy some food for the dolphins, stingrays, sharks, or seals.

If your kids are younger, they might not be able to make it through the whole day. If they manage to conserve their energy, stick around until an hour before closing time. That's when a big party kicks off at the front of the park as the perfect send-off.
