Be being filled continually with the Spirit, (Eph. 5:18).
Repetition aids learning. I believe it was Mark Twain (feel free to correct me) who said his problem was not with what he didn’t know, but with doing what he did know. I don’t think he was talking about his spiritual life, but the principle certainly holds true.
We all need the right information to live a productive, God-honoring, life. But most of us might actually have all the information we need. We just need to put it into practice. I have intentionally repeated yesterday’s text to make this point. If I’m not putting this truth into practice, I certainly am not going to benefit much from another piece of biblical instruction.
Question: did you keep in step with the Holy Spirit yesterday? Did you use a “reminder” in your pocket or write an “F” on your hand? Did you have a better day yesterday than the day before. I probably am only asking because I did all the above and don’t need to feel guilty about my own questions. But the first thing I did this morning was put a new “F” on my hand to keep going on my one day streak! Why don’t you join me?
