Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen might be on the same team, but they will be competing for the fan’s love at the 2013 Juno Awards. Both entertainers lead in nominations for the annual award show as the Canadian fans show love to a couple of hometown entertainers. The nominations were announced on Tuesday with not too many fans surprised that the two stars were at the top of list.
Carly Rae Jepsen leads all nominees with five nominations from the list including the JUNO Fan Choice Award. While Justin Bieber is nominated in four categories including Album of the Year, the star has some stiff competition from Jepsen.
“Nice! 4 nominations for the @TheJUNOAwards and @carlyraejepsen got 5. Everyone get ready to vote! #CANADA,” tweeted Justin Bieber from his official Twitter account on Tuesday after the announcement.
The 2013 Juno Awards are going to be a tough decision for the fans. Many of the fans of Justin Bieber are also fans of Carly Rae Jepsen. Deciding between the two (as there can only be one winner) won’t be an easy choice. With voting set to begin, it’s hopeful that the fans will pick their favorite.
