It has just been confirmed via a telephone conversation with Deb Young, Juno's Mom, that Juno, the "little dog doing big things" of Juno's Place and Burt, the littlest ninja of Burt's Brigade will be attending the Car Show and Bake Sale to benefit Hounds Healing Heroes and Best Friends for Life Animal Rescue on Sunday, July 20.

Known for their irresistible cuteness, entertaining hijinks and most importantly for tirelessly supporting charitable causes and lending their paws to making the world a better place for both animals and humans, this is a one of a kind opportunity to meet two very special little heroes in a rare local appearance.

Juno's books and the mousepads promoting cancer awareness featuring both Burt and Juno will be available.

In addition to a glorious selection of vehicles, the bake sale, which will offer treats for people and pets, refreshments and a number of raffles, this event will also host a variety of vendors as well as local animal advocates such as Bikers Against Animal Cruelty, author Sue Torres ("Loyalty Unleashed: Pit Bulls and the People Who Love Them"), Wolf Central and many more.

Kim Miller, the woman who has been battling the State of Connecticut for the release of her dogs, Kato and Kleo will also be present, collecting signatures for her petition to the authorities.

This event is being held at Pet Playhouse Pet Supplies, Town Line Plaza, 1656 Meriden-Waterbury Rd, Milldale (Southington), CT from 3 pm to 6 pm rain or shine. For further information, please call (860) 426-9640.
