Located just about an hour outside of Charlotte in Lexington, NC, Junius Lindsay Vineyards will host the Valentine's for Lovers: Wine and Chocolate Tasting on February 11th and 12th from 1pm – 5pm. It’s a perfect weekend trip or day-trip getaway for you and your special Valentine.
Junius Lindsay will partner with chocolatier Jilian Dulaney of Haute Chocolate located in Winston-Salem featuring exquisite homemade truffles, cupcakes and cakes. For this celebration of love, Dulaney has created special flavors exclusively for pairing with Junius Lindsay wines. The selections will include:
Second Leaf Viognier-Roussanne paired with Blood Orange Truffles
2009 Special Delivery Rose paired with Lime Basil Truffles
2008 Triomphe Red paired with Chipotle Cherry Truffles
Metro Red paired with Marrakesh Express Truffles
2008 Petite Sirah paired with Turkish Fig Truffles
2008 Estelle Dessert Wine paired with Crème Brulee Truffles
Jiliana will have the six selected truffles packaged for purchase, or feel free to mix and match. There is no cost to attend the event except the normal tasting fee.
