Indoctrination begins early for the children of jihadists in Syria. These kids should be doing what little boys and girls do best, playing. Instead, they're being trained to hate and fight against those who are their perceived enemies.

It would certainly appear from videos posted on Youtube, children are indeed being trained to fight. Many other images on the web also confirm this is occurring. Children from the age of four-years and up are taught to fire weapons.

A recent video, that is both shocking and appalling, shows a four-year-old firing an AK-47. The gun is so heavy for the toddler jihadist; he has to prop it up on a section of road block.

In the Youtube video the toddler jihadist, whose believed to be four, is seen firing rounds from the AK-47. While he shoots there are shouts of "Allahu Akbar" heard coming from adults watching the toddler fire the weapon.

The question needing to be asked is, would a parent really allow a child to fight and possibly be killed in a war? That's a thought most of us can't even fathom.

The video of the four-year-old toddler jihadist was first released on Jan. 21 on YouTube. The video was uploaded to a channel supposedly operated by a jihadist who claims to be in northern Syria. The video was entitled: "A message from one of the cubs of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.’

Other images of children between the age of nine and 15 have been circulating on the web showing them in full battle dress with black ski masks bearing the logo of al-Qaeda. Many of these children are holding Kalashnikov automatic assault rifles. Some were seen holding tripod-mounted heavy machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades.

Last year, a video emerged on Youtube of an eight-year-old boy shooting an AK-47, which is as big as he is. He's also seen in the video tossing a grenade over a wall.

This image is said to have become a symbol of the Syrian rebels. The boy, whose identified as Ahmed, is seen running through the worn-torn streets in Syria. Then he sits down between two adults and fires up a smoke.

He's asked, "where is your father and mother?" The boy replies, "they died in a mortar attack. My mother died and I kissed her." The boy said:

I ended up helping my uncle and his comrades because I have no other choice, there is no school, my family is dead, what choice do I have?

Ahmed’s mother and father died in a mortar strike in the Salaheddin neighborhood. It's reported his father was a fighter in the rebel Free Syrian Army, (FSA). The only family Ahmed has left now, at the time of the video, was his uncle who is also a fighter in the FSA.

Ahmed weighed in on the deadly civil war: “Sooner or later the regime will kiss you with one of their bullets,” according to the Daily Telegraph.
