June Staton is taking her teaching talents indoors to Falcon Ridge Golf Course for the winter.

The PGA/LPGA professional has 30 years of experience instructing players of all calibres and shall blend her knowledge with the practice module on Falcon Ridge’s industry-leading High Definition Golf simulators to customize lessons that fit the skill levels of students.

High Definition Golf got it all started in computer vision technology and continues to provide players with the most comprehensive and precise shot analysis in the industry.

The company’s simulators are able to measure critical ball and club parameters such as ball speed, club speed, launch angle, club face angle, ball spin and spin axis with extreme accuracy.

And its Swing Dynamics Module records and displays overall shaft flex, angle of attack, club head acceleration, wrist cock, load factor, position of maximum club head speed, club head speed at impact and swing tempo.

Staton, who spent 25 years as a club professional in New York and Florida, is also one of the top certified club fitters for the Henry Griffitts and Ping Karsten equipment companies.

Her close association with these manufacturers ensures that students have the opportunity to find ideal equipment through precise club fittings.

Falcon Ridge’s daily hours of operation during the winter are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The course’s Out of Bounds restaurant and bar serves a selection of pub food and light choices.
