On Jan. 3 US Weekly shared that TLC is about to begin its "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" "Holladay" special that will feature the Shannon/ Thompson family through the holidays. During the first holiday, Halloween, June's girls share that their mother is afraid of mayonnaise and force her to face her fear of the white sandwich spread.
June claims a traumatic childhood experience as the reason that she hates mayonnaise but did concede to the fact that she will eat a tuna salad sandwich or potato salad as long as someone else makes it and she doesn't have to see the jar of mayo. Mama June says that when she was younger she had a babysitter that would make mayonnaise sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Not only does that sound gross, but it also seems like overkill and a major case of mayo burnout.
In the episode airing on Jan. 6 on TLC, Alana AKA Honey Boo Boo, dumps a jar of the white condiment in a bowl and forces her mother to face her fear. For many people, mayo is disgusting. It has a bad smell and can spoil easily making them very sick. June isn't alone in her fear.
