June 24, 2014 DVD: Andrew Traucki's 'The Jungle' and DVD giveaway

From Australian filmmaker Andrew Traucki, the director of The Reef and Black Water, comes the terrifying found footage survival-thriller The Jungle. It is the final film in his trilogy of terror, which he is calling ‘Three Colours of Red’. In the dense remote Indonesian rainforest, Australian big cat conservationist Larry Black and his documentary filmmaker brother Ben are investigating reported sightings of the rare and endangered Javan Leopard. They become more nervous as they travel deeper into the jungle with their native guides. There is a local legend of a deadly werewolf-like "forest demon" feared by the natives that roams the lands and is not afraid of humans. Still determined to complete their mission to search and tag the Javan Leopard, the expeditionists venture further into the darkening forest. Their trek takes a sinister turn when they uncover evidence of a horrifying new species and find themselves on the path of terror being stalked by the deadly unseen predator, realizing it may not be just a myth.
