Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass are working together again in Green Zone to give us another action thriller film after The Bourne Supremacy (2004) and The Bourne Ultimatum (2007). Matt Damon plays the role of Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller who is in charge of finding weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) after the American invasion of Iraq in 2003. Despite intelligence reports of the existence of WMDs from the mysterious informant "Magellan," Miller and his team have failed to find any. As Miller becomes increasingly suscipious, CIA Baghdad bureau chief Martin Brown (Brendan Gleeson) tells Miller he will not find any WMDs, but Pentagon Special Intelligence Clark Poundstone (Greg Kinnear) insists otherwise. Wall Street Journal reporter Lawrie Dayne (Amy Ryan) has also arrived to investigate the matter. A high-ranking Iraqi officer, Seyyed Hamza (Said Faraj), may hold the key to everything if Miller can convince him to help. With Freddie (Khalid Abdalla) as interpreter, the search eventually leads them to Iraqi General Mohammed Al-Rawi (Yigal Naor) and the uncovering of a deeper complex political plot to manipulate the Iraqi government.
The film was inspired by the non-fiction book Imperial Life in Emerald City written by reporter Rajiv Chandrasekaran in 2006, who documents life in Green Zone, Baghdad.

Great article - looks like a good film!
I haven't seen this movie yet (and I've been debating whether I want to) but after reading your review I think it's definitely worth checking out. Thanks!
