Every summer the Pima Air & Space Museum hosts a few Night Wings events. These events allow guests to visit the museum and enjoy it in the cooler evening hours. The first Night Wings event for the summer of 2014 is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2014. Admission is $10 for adults and free for ages 12 and under. Last admission is at 8 p.m.
For the June Night Wings event, there will be the Radio Disney "Rockin' Road Crew" dance party as well as a Disney Planes themed scavenger hunt.
The June Night Wings event at the Pima Air & Space Museum will also feature a NASA's Exploration Design Challenge. Those that complete the challenge can have their name sent into space as a virtual crew member on the Orion EFT-1.
During the Night Wings event there will be hands on STEM activities for kids in each hangar. Also, the Flight Grill is open for dinner. Additionally, during the Night Wings event there will be the opportunity to take tram tours of the outdoor aircraft for an additional fee. The outside planes can be enjoyed from 5 p.m. until sundown.
About the Pima Air & Space Museum: The museum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the last admittance being at 4pm. November through May admission is $9 for ages 7 to 12 ($12.50 for 2 days), $15.50 for adults ages 13 and up ($20 for 2 days), and $12.25 for Pima County residents ($16.25 for 2 days), $12.75 for Seniors, AAA, and military ($16.75 for 2 days). Ages 6 and under are free. The AMARG (Boneyard) tour is an extra $7 for ages 13 and up and $4 for ages 12 and under. The Tram 80-acre tour is $6. The museum is located at 6000 E.
