After aspiring Los Angeles TV news anchor Meghan Miles loses an audition for her dream job, she hits the town in a skintight canary yellow dress for an uncharacteristic night of partying. When she wakes up, she finds herself in a stranger’s bed, with a message from her agent telling her the job is hers if she can make it across town by 5 p.m. She is ecstatic until she leaves and sees her car, along with her purse inside, get towed. Stranded without money, a phone or a car, Meghan embarks on a series of misadventures maneuvering through an unknown area -- from opinionated drug dealers to a horny cabbie to assaulting a kid and stealing his bike to an officious car impound clerk holding her vehicle hostage. Mistaken for a hooker, she runs from the police and risks life and limb to make it to the most important job interview of her career.
