Celebrate Fudge Day on June 16th with his simple recipe for Peanut Butter Fudge from food.com. It makes approximately 1.25 pounds of fudge – perfect for sharing with friends and family!
Peanut Butter Fudge (adapted from food.com):
· 1-1/2 cups sugar
· 1-1/2 cups brown sugar
· 1/2 cup milk
· 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
· 1 cup creamy peanut butter
· 1/2 cup butter
· 1 teaspoon vanilla
Combine sugars, milk, and cocoa in large saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture reaches 238-degrees F and forms a soft ball. Remove mixture from heat and add peanut butter, butter and vanilla, stirring until melted. Pour into greased 13” x 9” pan and place in the refrigerator to cool completely. After the fudge hardens, cut into 1” squares.
