It is one point in planning and getting things done to agree with one another and get it on individual and organizational objective lists. In the history of theological communications men and women have gathered to pray out loud, in private and leaders have rallied nations to pray in pivotal times. While it gives everyone involved a game plan it is the communication method preferred by God the Father; Jesus His son and through the power of the Holy Spirit. "Things happen when people pray."
GREAT THINGS HAPPEN BECAUSE THE POWER OF PRAYER IS NEVER LIMITED BY OUR OUTWARD CIRCUMSTANCES! Acts 12:1-4
That is the essence of "praying out loud." In many organizations who have to raise funds, sponsorship and plan stewardship campaigns it is curious how many are like the great evangelist and missionary George Mueller.
Great Things Happen When God’s People Pray!
John R. Petrilli calls himself a "writer for the Lord" and in his column he relays the story of Mueller, "responsible for the care of thousands of orphans in Bristol, England. He never asked anyone for a single dime, but instead, relied on faith and prayer alone to supply their needs." You might read this and ask, "How could he maintain the ministry, provide for his family, and start, support and sustain any kind of lifestyle on only the dividends of prayer?
"For decades Mueller watched as God answered prayer after prayer enabling him to house, feed and clothe these homeless, destitute children. On one occasion he sought the Lord for 607 consecutive days until the 11,062 pounds needed to buy a piece of land came in! If God responded to George Mueller’s prayers, will He not respond to ours also? God is waiting tom open the storehouse of heaven and shower abundant blessings upon our lives. In Acts chapter 12 we see how God gives astounding answers the believing prayers of His people ."
Objective raising in prayer
At the Ministry of Leadership and Communications the goal is to publish a prayer list and to pray out loud, to systematically "float" an idea and watch what God will do with it. This is systematic in the approach, men and women seeking God's will and asking, seeking and knocking on business endeavors, ministry and mission objectives. "Sometimes the answers are swift; others they just die, and still for others we wait," says one of the leaders responsible for maintaining the excel sheet of prayer objectives. "nothing gets launched, nothing gets aired, and no contracts get signed until it is agreed upon-out loud in the leadership prayer meetings." "God has planned something better for us so that only together with us they be made perfect..." That comes from the writer of Hebrews (11:10).
Self-made men
While a Donald Trump might dicker on his own self-worth in dollars, (Atlantic Magazine, "What's the deal with Donald Trump? William D. Cohan. April 2013.) Making business deals and cooking the books on legal technicalities, the self made headline maker came to the attention of the group, from the communications standpoint. "At first MLC began "praying the headlines" but then it was an epiphany moment while "praying out loud" that God is more proactive than that." So the group began praying the scriptures. "More ideas of business and ministry helps us reach clarity than to ring our hands and worry about how politicians react to issues,"one of the journalists in the group explained. It also takes the focus off of the leaders, gets our minds on how to serve and so we study, we build relationships between God and our group and we help business and ministry promote what God is doing in our communities and how he is using his people to promote His plan and praise His ownership and to be thankful that He can and will utilize men and women to carry through His objectives, His ideas, and his craftsmanship."
Motive Approach and Power
The group often uses secular business books on creation, business planning, and community building. "Jump start your Brain" by Doug Hall; "The Plan As You Go Business Plan," by Tim Berry and "The Power of Focus" by Jack Canfield; as well as "Disruption" and "Beyond Disruption" by Jean-Marie Dru. Just add prayer and a couple of shots of Mission Coffee Espresso and you have an explosion of ideas, an interactive platform and a mission that overturns conventions and shakes up the marketplace. "we get off to the right start by looking to the Biblical motives and mindset of God-in the plans. Seeking and following the approach of Jesus Christ in the creative process and living out the plan, praying the objective and singing it out-loud through a grant from the Holy Spirit," is taking the creative, fusing it with the business and systematic process that flows with an extra burst of power," is the best way to get things done. (Did the Holy Spirit invent espresso?) "We've launched and planted church, coffee-house, roasting business, and digital publishing, technological, sales and advertising firms, as well as media and communications centers; mission organizations and resources, but they could not have been done without prayer and people dedicated to studying the Word; fused in the synergy of relationship and in community with serving and reaching out to a hungry culture."
