Grab your pens, calendars and kids because here are some family-oriented events Atlantans will not want to miss this fall. 

Target Free Family Day at The Woodruff Arts Center

For the third year, The Woodruff Arts Center has again partnered with Target to present this fabulous family arts festival  which has attracted thousands in years past. Visitors will experience the best family programming from each of the Center's Divisions - Alliance Theatre, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, High Museum of Art and Young Audiences. Best of all the whole day is free!

Radio Disney's "3 Minute Game Show"

Radio Disney AM 590 is hosting a version of it's popular "3 Minute Game Show" in which kids ages 16 and younger can test their Disney Channel knowledge for the chance to win a trip to Los Angeles to watch a taping of "3 Minute Game Show!" They could even win the chance to be a contestant!

There will be lots to do at the event as the Radio Disney Road Crew will also be on hand providing music, fun, games and prizes, including $50 Disney Gift Cards!

World Music and Food Festival

This is a multi-cultural music and food free festival with vendors, dancers, comedians and live music from around the world.

October 23 and October 24 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., 1071 Piedmont Park, Atlanta
The event is free, but guests must register to attend, www.giveahandfoundation.org.

Taste of Atlanta

While this annual event is not free if you want to eat, it is the place to go if your family wants to sample some of the best dishes from restaurants around the Atlanta metro area. In addition to stopping by the booths of the more than 70 restaurants participating, guests with children will want to check out the Family Food Zone which offers a variety of kid-friendly activities and cooking demonstrations from local and national personalities, including The Meal Makeover Moms - Liz Weiss and Janice Newell Bissex.

Guests can also visit the Farm to Festival Village to check out the farmers market, demonstrations about the farm-to-table movement and a variety of vendors educating attendees on everything sustainable. There will also be a Go-Green Village that will feature Farmer D along with interactive booths, Georgia specialty food items and vendors with eco-friendly products.

Tickets are $25 in advance (15 Taste coupons) and $35 the day of the event. Kids 13 and under are free.
