From Primetime Emmy-winning director Richard Shepard comes the black comedy-crime drama film Dom Hemingway. Two-time Academy Award nominee Jude Law plays the titular character, a larger-than-life safecracker with a short fuse and a long memory. Richard E. Grant, Demián Bichir, Emilia Clarke, Kerry Condon and Mădălina Diana Ghenea co-star.

After spending 12 years in prison for keeping his mouth shut, notorious safecracker Dom Hemingway reunites with his best friend Dickie and they go to boss Ivan Fontaine to collect what Dom’s owed. Upon receiving £750,000, they hit the town partying and all is well until they get into a car accident that leaves Fontaine dead and Dom unconscious. Meanwhile, Fontaine’s Romanian girlfriend Paolina runs away with Dom’s money.

When Dom wakes up, he rescues another girl named Melody who tells him he shall gain good luck for his deed. However, it seems more like his luck has run out when a few days later he collapses outside the apartment of of his estranged daughter Evelyn. From her boyfriend Hugh, he learns he has a grandson named Jawara and gets advice to reconcile with his daughter, who blames him for being absent from her childhood and her mother’s death.

While trying to make amends with Evelyn, Dom is tempted back into the safecracking business and his old ways that put him in prison in the first place. Ultimately Dom decides to turn over a new leaf and he finally reaps the rewards that are even better than his payday.
