Every summer the Pima Air & Space Museum hosts a few Night Wings events. These events allow guests to visit the museum and enjoy it in the cooler evening hours. The second Night Wings event for the summer of 2014 is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2014. Admission is $10 for adults and free for ages 12 and under. Last admission is at 8 p.m.
During the Night Wings event there will be hands on STEM activities for kids in each hangar. Some of the hands on activities offer prizes. There is also an opportunity to win a "crew"/family museum membership by completing an activity sheet and entering to win.
For the Night Wings evening the Flight Grill is open until 8:30 p.m. and offers dinner specials. Additionally, during the Night Wings event there will be the opportunity to take tram tours of the outdoor aircraft for an additional fee ($4). The outside planes can be enjoyed from 5 p.m. until sundown.
