Academy Award-nominated director and screenwriter Noah Baumbach's Greenberg is a dramedy about how two people struggling to find their place in the world make a connection. Roger Greenberg (Emmy winner Ben Stiller) is single, fortyish and has moved back to Los Angeles after spending some time in New York. His objective is to "do nothing" while he is housesitting for his successful brother Phillip's (Chris Messina) Hollywood Hills home when he is away abroad with his family. He spends his days writing complaints to companies and building a doghouse for his brother's german shepherd dog Mahler.
While home, Roger tries to reconnect with Ivan (Rhys Ifans) and his other old bandmates, but they still have not forgiven him for ruining a record deal fifteen years ago. He also meets up with his ex-girlfriend Beth (Golden Globe-nominated Jennifer Jason Leigh), who is now successful and has no interest in rekindling their previous romance. Finding that the people in his former life have moved on without him, he reaches out to aspiring singer Florence Marr (Greta Gerwig), who is the Greenberg family's personal assistant. She finds him vulnerable and brave that he does not submit to the pressures to be successful in life. At first she helps him get around Los Angeles, since he had no need to learn to drive in New York. When Mahler gets sick, they both care for the dog. As they spend more time together, Roger's "doing nothing" is actually doing something that means so much more; perhaps even offering him a reason to be happy.

A declaration of love changes everything.
The Greatest is a dramatic film written and directed by Shana Feste. A teenage boy Bennett Brewer (Aaron Johnson) stops his car in the middle of the road to declare his love for his high school sweetheart Rose (Academy Award-nominated Carey Mulligan) when a truck slams into the car. It kills him, but she survives barely unscathed. Three months later, Rose shows up at Allen and Grace Brewer's (Golden Globe-nominated Pierce Brosnan and Academy Award winner Susan Sarandon) doorstep, announcing she is pregnant with their dead son's child. At first they welcome her into their home, but her presence quickly adds strain to Allen and Grace's dissolving marriage. While Allen is struggling to maintain composure and has an affair, Grace grows more distant as she obsesses over the last minutes of her son's life and blames Rose. Meanwhile, their younger son Ryan (Johnny Simmons) copes with never having had a chance to say good-bye. Will Rose and her unborn child's connection with each of the Brewer family members ultimately be able to help them all heal?
