Julliard Jazz at Tuacahn

Are you ready for a great evening of jazz? I’m listening to this group play as I write this article. It reminds me of the days way back in the sixties when I used to hang out at the jazz clubs in Southern California. If you really love the old fashioned jazz standards then you certainly don’t want to miss this performance. Tickets are only $19.50 and the setting is terrific.

If you’re not familiar with the Tuacahn Center for the Arts you’ll want to know that it is a professional non-profit organization presenting and producing a terrific concert series a couple of hours north of Las Vegas. Tuacahn is located in the small village of Ivins, Utah on the west side of beautiful St. George.

The Julliard Jazz production is scheduled for Thursday, March 14, 2013. You can find a seating chart and directions on the Tuacahn website right here.

You may not want to make the two hour drive back to Las Vegas after the concert so why not plan a long weekend and check into the beautiful Red Mountain Resort for a couple of nights. Neighboring Snow Canyon State Park will give you a great day of hiking and if you're even more ambitious why not drive the 45 minutes east to the world famous Zion National Park?

Whatever you decide you can't miss with this visit to Utah's paradise. Watch for future news about visits to Tuacahn from Bill Cosby and Burt Bacharach and . . .

Keep on Traveling!
