Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. now looks like fraudulent juicer

WBC middleweight king Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. was accused by his fellow Mexican countryman, “The Poison” Marco Antonio Rubio, of using performance enhancing drugs during an interview aired Sunday on the Boxing Channel.

Chavez (45-0-1-1, 31 KOs), whose nickname is "The Legend Goes On" because he is the son of iconic pugilist Julio Caesar Chavez, successfully retained his crown with a unanimous decision victory over Rubio (53-6-1, 46 KOs) Saturday night in front of 14,120 rowdy fans at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

"I felt him very big," said Rubio, 31. “He regained a lot of weight. I regained my usual weight."

Chavez, who captured his belt last June by defeating Germany's Sebastian Zbik by majority decision at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, tipped the scales at 159.5 pounds during the weigh-in on Friday.

However, when the native of Culiacan entered the squared circle this weekend, he weighed 181 pounds.

Hence, Chavez gained nearly 22 pounds in approximately 24 hours.

"I don't want to make any excuses,” claimed Rubio. "I feel he recouped exceptionally fast. This really took us by surprise. There was no testing done, and in a championship fight, testing needs to be done. There was no weigh-ins done the days or weeks before the fight, and I feel that he was very well-protected."

Jeff Lyons possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of “The Sweet Science” and contends Chavez could be guilty of juicing.

“I just posted a comment on an article by Dan Rafael on ESPN,” said Lyons, 32, a resident of South Boston. “I believe it. Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. is a joke. He’s basically a light-heavyweight out-pointing mediocre middleweights. Rubio is not a small middleweight and Chavez dwarfed him.”

Sports figures across the board have long deceived and lied to the public.

Therefore, all modern athletes are under justified scrutiny due to their fraternal fraudulence.

Rubio initially seemed entirely irresponsible for launching such serious allegations sans even a shred of evidence.

Unfortunately, reports published today on BoxingScene.com and Yahoo.com has bolstered charges made by “The Poison.”

Chavez, 25, who turned professional after only two fights as an amateur, reportedly fled the Alamodome without providing a customary post-fight urinalysis.

Disturbingly, Chavez was pinched using the banned diuretic furosemide following his November 2009 tussle with Troy Rowland in “Sin City.”

Due to the violation, the bout was ultimately declared a no-contest.

Juiceheads are notorious for using furosemide as a masking agent to conceal the presence of PEDs.

Roger "Pit" Perron is a venerable boxing trainer from Brockton (Mass.) who now works with Mike and Rich Cappiello at their gym, Cappiello Brothers Boxing and Training.

“Chavez has a great record,” said Perron, 75, who worked with International Boxing Hall of Famer Marvelous Marvin Hagler at the Petronelli Brothers Gym.

“But, he doesn’t impress me that much.”

Ancient Greek tragedian Sophocles once wrote, “Rather fail with honor than succeed by fraud.”

If Chavez managed to “succeed by fraud,” he cheated the sport that helped make him millions of dollars.

Conversely, Marco Antonio Rubio was wrongly endangered and forced to “fail with honor.”

Pathetically, “The Legend” may have been forever tarnished last weekend.
