Julie Pace of the Associated press, has been rescued from the deserted island she has been on for the past five years. Unfortunately, she tried to jump back into the swing of things too soon. She appeared on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace and as they were speaking about Obamacare, Pace said:
“The White House is very worried about this. They spent a lot of time and money on this program, and you can’t say this has been anything short of embarrassing for the president.”
“He’s going to come out on Monday. He’s going to address these problems. I don’t know how specific he is going to get, but I think this sort of going to be a mea culpa for the president.”
Because she was on that deserted island, she was unaware that Obama never takes the blame for anything. He'll say something like, "OK. So I didn't do anything to make sure we were ready for the rollout even though everyone told me it would never work on time. Let me point out that Reagan and the two Bushes were president for a total of 20 years and they did nothing about the ACA rollout either."
Maybe a back alley confession. "Even though Kathleen Sebelius really screwed the moose on this one, I only found out yesterday there was a problem when I saw it on TV, but as president I should shoulder some of the blame."
Or even the ever popular, "Sequester, sequester, shutdown, Osama bin Laden is dead."
And Pace would have known this had she not been on that island. And when Chris Wallace asked her if she really believed Obama would apologize, she said:
“I think he’s going to have to. If he comes out and says anything other than that, he’s just going to be ripped apart by the media, by the press.”
Now, I know she was on a deserted island.
