The you know what definitely hits the fan on tonight's winter finale of "Dallas" when Nicolás (Juan Pablo Di Pace) sends Pamela (Julie Gonzalo) the video of her husband John Ross (Josh Henderson) having sex with Emma (Emma Bell), who has been pretending to be her friend.

It was originally Elena's (Jordana Brewster) brainstorm to get the goods on the cheating John Ross as a means to get control of Ewing Global, but when she saw who he was sleeping with, it just went against her grain to send the video to Pamela. Nicolás, however, had no such compunction, because he is in trouble with a Mexican cartel and needs to make this deal. In fact, it may be a matter of life and death for him.

But the reality is going to hit Pamela hard, especially since she sided with John Ross against her father, Cliff (Ken Kercheval), who is languishing in a Mexican jail, after having been framed by the Ewings for J.R.'s (Larry Hagman) death.

"In her head, you've seen Pamela this year trying to be a different person," Gonzalo told Examiner.com. "She's trying to be a wife and a house woman, as well as a businesswoman, but now she has this partner. I think throughout her whole life, she's had her father as a partner in crime. She has done so many things for her father, but now this is her life. This is her partner. I think it will be a huge betrayal for her."

The video also sets in motion problems between Bobby (Patrick Duffy) and Ann (Brenda Strong) because Ann knew that John Ross was sleeping with her daughter Emma and never mentioned it to her husband.

"I think this episode really defines everybody's relationship with each other," Gonzalo says. "Everybody's up against each other. There are so many levels. I think every character has different levels of why they now don't trust the closest person to them. I think Bobby and Ann, as a pair, discover something that does jeopardize their [marriage]. It is something that jeopardizes everyone's relationship with everyone."

Also on the mid-season finale, Christopher (Jesse Metcalfe) and Heather (guest star AnnaLynne McCord) must deal with a drastic action taken by her ex-husband Bo (guest star Donny Boaz); Elena and Nicolas’ relationship is tested as her brother Drew's (guest star Kuno Becker) arrival in Dallas threatens their plans; and Emma takes a page out of her grandmother’s playbook that ends in disaster.

"You don't really trust anyone," Gonzalo adds. "I think there is some [deceit] even when it comes to the nicest characters, when it comes to Bobby, Ann and Christopher. There are definitely some hidden agendas all around. Anything is possible. I feel like, "Was J.R. telling the truth? Is anything else hidden there." The beauty of the show is you never know what turn you're going to make and where it's going to go. You sit down to watch an episode and there are so many twists and turns and backstabbings. It's hard for us to keep up even when we read them.

The Season 3 mid-season finale of "Dallas" airs Monday, April 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on TNT.
