Julie and Julia movie

julia child

I am sure there are many reviews out there about his movie. However, this is more like a "what I got from the movie" article! I got a really good idea for a dish to try! There are also several things I learned about Julia Child that I found interesting. At the end of this article I will add a link to my personal blog where if you would like to, you can read about the things that I learned about myself through this movie.

At the very beginning of the movie, Julie was toasting some sliced French bread in a pan of butter! They were golden brown and looked so savory! She then took a tomato salad and placed it on top of them and she and her husband proceeded to eat. The looks of this form of bruschetta made my mouth water! I plan to come up with my own concoction for this dish!

A few things that I learned about Julia Child were:

  • Julia Child was a very happy person. She was full of joy!
  • She was also very funny and a good wife to her husband Paul.
  • Julia was not afraid to try cooking new things. Even if it seemed like it would be hard.
  • Julia liked shopping for food more than clothes. I can attest to that myself!
  • Julia knows that butter makes food better!

Something I took home from this movie was: Find something that brings you happiness and do it!
