Julianne Hough is speaking out about her childhood and things were not always great for her growing up. Fans know Julianne and her brother Derek from their time on "Dancing With the Stars." ABC News shared what Julianne had to say about her life before she became a famous dancer. Julianne grew up faster than most people do.
Julianne was only 10 and Derek only 13 when they went to London dance school Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. They were already training to be professional. They lived with Shirley and Corky Ballas instead of with their parents. This happens to be the parents of Mark Ballas.
It was hard on her being so young in such an adult world. She said, "I was 10 years old looking like I was 28, being a very sensual dancer. I was a tormented little kid who had to put on this sexy facade because that was my job and my life. But my heart was the same, and I was this innocent little girl." It sounds like it was not easy for her growing up. She also admits to getting off on the wrong train stop.
Yes Julianne Hough and Derek Hough left their parents. They were not with them while they were on this journey but because of it that is where they are today. They don't seem to regret the decisions that their parents made for them so many years ago. Both of them have a huge career now and it seems like this decision was great for them. It is why they are at where they are today. They just did a performance on Broadway that left Julianne in tears for getting that opportunity. They are in a great place now.
