Julianne Hough's stolen jewelry is making top news today. The country singer and former "Dancing with the Stars" cast member had $100,000 worth of jewelry stolen out of her car. On March 14, TMZ reported that Hough left a good amount of jewelry in her Mercedes -- jewelry that her beau, Ryan Seacrest reportedly gave her.
The three items were taken from Hough's car while it was parked in a lot at an apartment complex in Hollywood. One of the items was a watch worth $50,000 a source told TMZ. It is unknown if Hough usually leaves pricey jewelry in her car.
Julianne Hough's stolen jewelry is being investigated by police. The only details available included that Hough went back to her car and found the door open and her things had clearly been rummaged through. As TMZ points out, it is unclear whether or not Hough's doors were left unlocked. If she forgot to lock her car, it was that much easier for someone to get their hands on the jewelry.
If Hough knows exactly which pieces were taken from her car, police may have a good chance at nabbing the thief the moment he (or she) tries to sell the jewelry at a shop (be is a jewelry store or a pawn shop).
Now that Julianne Hough had her jewelry stolen, she might be more careful about where she leaves her pricey items in the future.
