Julianne Hough and Ryan Seacrest seemed like the perfect couple when they were dating. Now she is speaking out about their relationship and on Tuesday Fox News shared what she had to say about it all. They were together for three years but it was not what she expected.
Hough spoke out saying, "Every relationship, there was nothing wrong or bad, but there was nothing right. I had one foot out because I didn’t want to get hurt. And I didn’t say what was on my mind because I didn’t want to ruffle any feathers. I needed to be perfect." It sounds like she may have stayed with Ryan a lot longer than planned for this exact reason.
She explained how she knew it was time to move on from Seacrest. Julianne revealed, "I had this epiphany when my family went to a six-day seminar [last November] about creating your own destiny. Ilearned so much about myself and why my relationships didn’t work that by the end I was on a high. I was seeing a couple people, but immediately [told him], ‘You are nice, but this is going nowhere."
Hough is now dating Brooks Laich. She shared, "We’ve been open and honest from day one. Now I’m not holding anything back, because I’d rather get my heart broken than never know what it is to be completely, madly in love. If I had been this open in my last relationship, who knows?"
At least she realized before it was too late. Julianne Hough and Ryan Seacrest were together for three years but they never got engaged or married. She has moved on and seems really happy now. Seacrest isn't very open about his romantic relationships except for when he was with Hough.
