Julianne Hough had $100,000 worth of jewelry stolen from her car in Hollywood Friday night, TMZ reported March 14. Her boyfriend, Ryan Seacrest supposedly had given those jewels to her as gifts. Julianne was visiting a friend in an apartment and left the jewelry in her car.
Law enforcement officials told TMZ that Hough had parked her Mercedes in the apartment complex lot and left 3 pieces of jewelry inside the car. This is jewelry that Seacrest had given her. Julianne returned to her car a few hours later and found the door wide open and the car ransacked.
Nobody is sure if she accidentally left the door unlocked, but according to the police reports, there were no signs of forcible entry. I personally don't understand why anyone in their right mind would leave jewelry in their car worth that amount of money, whether they locked the car or not.
I hope that Ryan Seacrest is as sweet as everyone says he is, so he can forgive Julianne for the mishap. Hopefully, the gems were insured but if not, I'm sure Seacrest can replace the bobbles very easily.
