Dancer and actress Julianne Hough suffered a ripped dress wardrobe malfunction at the recently-televised Golden Globes ceremony. The former "Dancing With the Stars" dancer was doing what she loves most, dancing, but a bit too hard, causing the dress to rip.
As reported by Christian Post on Jan. 15, Hough was celebrating at InStyle's Golden Globes bash when the incident happened. She had been dressed to the hilts in a pastel pink Jenny Packham gown, which had to have cost a pretty penny. However, as she was showing off her dance moves, the dress ultimately ripped apart. Hough tweeted about the experience on the social media site a day ago, saying:
"Ummm I think I may have danced too hard.... Eeek!!!!"
She later added:
"Ummm again... I love to dance regardless of how expensive a dress may be... You can't hold me down!!! :)"
Julianne was seen earlier in the night wearing a Monique Lhullier gown on the Golden Globes red carpet prior to the televised awards ceremony. She's been dating E! Network producer Ryan Seacrest since 2010 now, but there's been no marriage proposal, as of yet. Julianne Hough is famous for her days as a dancing pro on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars," for the fourth through eighth seasons. She's not only a two-time champion on the show, partnering with Apolo Anton Ohno and Helio Castroneves for the wins, but also a singer and movie star, with her recent role in the remake of "Footloose."
The 2013 Golden Globes awards show was televised Sunday night in Roanoke on local NBC affiliate station WSLS 10.
