Julian Lennon announced Monday that a new album, "Everything Changes," will be released in the UK Oct.2 on iTunes there and Oct. 3 in UK stores. It's his first new studio album since 1998's "Photograph Smile" and the first since a 2001 compilation of his music by VH1.
A single from the album, "Lookin' 4 Luv," is available from iTunes in the UK. UK fans can order "Everything Changes" and the single "Lookin' 4 Luv" from iTunes UK. Neither the album or the single are listed on iTunes in the U.S., but an import of the album is available to U.S. buyers from Amazon.com beginning Oct. 4, according to the listing there.
Lennon's most recent record release was the 2009 single "Lucy." Proceeds from the song were used to fight lupus. His friend, Lucy Vodden, the inspiration for "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds," died from complications from the disease.
