Julia Roberts Confirmed as Evil Queen in 'Snow White'

Julia Roberts has landed the role of the Evil Queen in the upcoming "Snow White." The Brothers Grimm version of the classic fairy tale has found it's evil villain. This is just one of two "Snow White" films that are in pre-production.

"Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen equals awesomeness," said Katie in Cleveland. According to Entertainment Weekly, Roberts, who has become one of America's most beloved actresses through her wise role selection and amazing talent, will now be in a role unlike one we've seen from her previously.

A statement from Relativity Media officially confirmed Julia's involvement in the film. ”Julia was our first and only choice to play the Queen,” said Relativity CEO Ryan Kavanaugh. “She is an icon, and we know that she will make this role her own in a way that no one else could.”

A second "Snow White" film, being titled "Snow White and The Huntsmen" is also in the making. Charlize Theron is rumored to be playing the Evil Queen in that version, as Kristen Stewart has been offered the role of Snow White. However, Julia Robert's film has yet to cast their title character.
