One could easily guess that upon the release of Juju The GOOD Voodoo children's book that there was plenty more fun in store for children of all ages - and that prediction is proving more true all the time.
Author and illustrator, Michelle Hirstius, pulled 'Juju,' - an adorable voodoo doll who casts "good" spells - out of her imagination and inked her onto paper just last spring. Then just a few months later, in time for the 2012 holiday season, Hirstius released her sophomore installment of Juju's adventures, Juju Saves Christmas in da Bayou. And now, this dynamic duo comprised of Hirstius and Juju are back again - this time with the release of the Juju Coloring and Activity Book for a more interactive experience with Juju and all of her good-voodoo fun.
"I'm very excited to finally be releasing this coloring/activity book, everyone has been asking for one. You ask and you shall receive," chuckles Hirstius, "This book is not just coloring pages, there are mazes, seek and find, crossword, drawing pages, it's all fun. I love mazes so I had to put some in there."
And joining Michelle Hirstius this time around is her mother, Dianne T. Hirstius who helped with the crossword and seek and find activities. "She has been so supportive with Juju, the books have actually brought us much closer than ever," says Hirstius in earnest, and proving that the magic that Juju creates isn't just for kids.
