The only one who comes to mind is Juju - the lovable voodoo doll who casts "good" spells in a series of children's books by NOLA author and illustrator, Michelle Hirstius.

Juju first came to us with the 2011 release, Juju the GOOD voodoo. Her follow-up installment centered around holiday fun with Juju saves Christmas in da Bayou, and then 2013 brought us Juju's NOLA ABC's and Juju's Coloring and Activity Book.

Well, Juju is back again for some more Louisiana-based holiday fun with her new book, Juju in Easterland? Who knew. In this volume Juju teams up with the Easter Bunny to save Easter, and features New Orleans based Elmer Chocolates.

Juju's fun and jazzy books are available online, or in an array of New Orleans-area shops - click here for the list of where to go to bring home Juju for your boys and girls (not to mention, adults love Juju and her adventures just as well!)

And there are ample opportunities to meet Hirstius and Juju in person too. Check out the events page on Juju's official website to see where you can bring the kids and received a hug from the cutest voodoo doll anywhere, ever!
